
Sweet Potato Fries Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 medium-large sweet potatoes 2 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
- ½ teaspoon Celtic sea salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Wash each sweet potato thoroughly. I recommend leaving the skin on if your potatoes are organic (more nutrients!). Cut each potato in half, then slice into fries approx. ½ - ¾ inch thick.
- In a closeable container, combine the potatoes, coconut oil, salt, and cayenne pepper. Shake the container well so that each fry is coated with oil and seasoning.
- Spread the seasoned fries out on a baking sheet; they should be in one layer so that each fry is touching the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes then flip each fry; they should be slightly brown on one side. Bake for another 10-15 minutes.
- Add (additional) salt and pepper to taste, enjoy!
